Handling of Personal Information

[EN] The Extension does NOT collect, store, transmit, or process any Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as names, physical addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, or browsing history.

Scope and Collection of Information

[EN] The Extension minimizes data handling to the absolute minimum necessary to provide note-taking functionality:

User-Generated Note Content: Text memos, Markdown text, Sheet tabular data, TODO checklist items, and imported files (.md, .txt) created or edited by the user within the Extension.
Method of Collection: All note contents are entered directly by the user and stored exclusively in the browser’s local storage (chrome.storage.local). No automated background scraping or collection from active webpages is performed.

User Settings (Non-Sensitive Information)

[EN] The Extension stores only non-sensitive configuration data locally:

Application State: The currently active tab number (Tab 1–5), editor mode preferences (text, sheet, todo), and local free usage action counters (monthly copy/download counts).
No Credentials: The Extension does NOT collect, retain, or access any sensitive user settings, passwords, tokens, or authentication credentials.

Use of Collected Information

[EN] All information stored locally is used strictly and exclusively for the following functional purposes:

To continuously display, persist, and restore notes, sheets, and TODO lists across browser sessions in the side panel or full-screen tab.
To execute user-requested features, such as text search and replace, timestamp insertion, live Markdown rendering, copying to clipboard, and file downloads (.md / .csv).
To prevent editing conflicts through exclusive lock handling between sidebar and full-screen tab modes.

None of this information is ever used for advertising, behavioral profiling, tracking, or data monetization.

これらの情報が本拡張機能の機能提供以外の目的（広告配信、行動追跡、データ売買など）で使用されることは一切ありません。

Permissions Used & Justification

[EN] The Extension requests only the minimum permissions required under the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies:

sidePanel: Required to display the note-taking user interface within the browser side panel alongside web content.
storage: Required to save, load, and persist note contents and non-sensitive settings locally on the device (chrome.storage.local).
tabs: Exclusively used to open the full-screen tab view (tab.html), focus an existing tab to prevent duplicate windows, and close tabs upon returning to the sidebar. The Extension does NOT monitor, record, or collect URLs or browsing history.

Payments & PRO License Handling

Payment Processing: Upgrades to the optional PRO license are processed directly through secure, accredited third-party payment platforms (e.g., Stripe, Chrome Web Store Payments).
Financial Data: We never receive, process, view, or store credit card numbers, bank accounts, or sensitive financial data.
License Verification: Only minimal, non-sensitive license status or activation tokens are communicated with the verification endpoint to validate license authenticity and unlock PRO features.

決済処理: 有料PROライセンスへのアップグレード決済は、信頼されたセキュアなサードパーティ決済事業者（Stripe、Chromeウェブストア決済等）を通じて直接処理されます。

Data Storage & Deletion

Local Storage: All note data is stored locally within the user’s browser profile via chrome.storage.local. No data is ever transmitted to our servers or external databases.
Data Deletion: Users can delete individual notes, reset tabs, or clear all data at any time using the in-app reset options. Uninstalling the Extension instantly and permanently removes all stored data from the device.

情報の保存: ユーザーが入力した情報は、ブラウザが提供する安全なAPIである chrome.storage.local を利用して、ユーザーのデバイス（ブラウザ内）にのみ保存されます。開発者のサーバーや外部サーバーに送信されることは一切ありません。
情報の破棄: ユーザーは拡張機能内のリセットボタンからいつでもメモを消去できます。また、本拡張機能をアンインストールすることで、保存されたすべてのデータがデバイスから即座に完全破棄されます。

[EN] The Extension does NOT sell, rent, trade, disclose, or transfer any user data or note content to third-party advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. All data remains exclusively on your local device.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

[EN] While the Extension uses standard persistent storage APIs, local data may be lost due to browser cache clearing, device resets, profile corruption, or extension updates. Users are advised to periodically back up important data via file download or copy. The developer assumes no liability for any data loss, direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Extension.
